There is a host of leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool and a gymnasium. This hotel comes highly recommended. (BL 12/2006) A traditional style building surrounded by greenery. This hotel is set in 12 acres of stunning parkland and is only 3 miles from the city centre.

Rooms are medium in size, in very good condition and are decorated in yellow pastel colurs, creating a nice relaxing and calm effect.

Directions

Getting there. There is a frequent train service from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly in the city centre. A moving walkway connects all terminals to the train station. Up to six trains depart the airport to Manchester Piccadilly every hour. The journey takes 20 minutes and a single ticket is 2.65 GBP. From Manchester Piccadilly visitors can connect to train services to Sheffield. National Express coach services run from the airport to Sheffield. The ticket desk is located at the bus station. Alternatively, a taxi from the airport should cost approximately 40 GBP. Sheffield city centre can be easily explored on foot. The city is well served by a tram and bus network; trains also run to the city's suburban stations. Cycle lanes cross the city centre. All prices subject to change. Driving directions.From Manchester Airport take M60 M62 East M1 South to Junction 33. Follow Sheffield Parkway for six miles towards the city centre. At Park Square roundabout, take third exit and follow signs for A61 South onto Sheaf Street. Pass the railway station and follow signs for A61 Ring Road Barnsley into St Mary's Road. Go straight across at Bramall Lane Roundabout, then bear left into London Road at the next lights. At the first lights turn right onto Boston Street/Cemetery Road, and continue to the roundabout. Take the second exit onto second roundabout, and the hotel entrance is directly ahead.
