"The hotel is in an excellent location right next to the vaporetta stop, nice welcome from matteo, the hotel was undertaking some building work outside , but didnt really bother us, the room we had on the first floor was very nice small but spotless, the one my brother had was on the ground floor, and really designed for disabled use , ie very large toilet and open shower which was prone to flooding , also had a leaky air con system, these however were only minor complaints and didnt spoil our." — source Skoosh

Hotel Vecellio is situated at Fondamenta Nuove - the long promenade on the northern side of Venice. Through its windows it is possible to admire the northern side of the lagoon, with the Murano, Burano, Torcello and Mazzorbo islands. On clear days you can see the Alps, which appear to rise at the end of the lagoon. The property features beautifully decorated rooms and a small lounge bar, situated on the ground floor and open 24 hours a day. A very friendly and helpful staff will be pleased to provide you with any kind of information you may require.

Directions
From the Rail and Car-Busses terminals you can catch waterbus lines 42-52 and get off Fondamente Nove. The Hotel is right there. From the Venice Airport there's the service called Alilaguna takes you in 40 minutes ride to Fondamente Nove.
