Located on the Wanchai waterfront, above the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Renaissance Harbour View is approximately 27 miles from Hong Kong-Chek Lap Kok International Airport. The Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui is opposite the hotel and it is a five-minute walk through the covered walkways to major commercial buildings in Wanchai and the Wanchai MTR subway station. This location is also one mile from Times Square and Pacific Place shopping mall, two miles from Lan Kwai Fong (entertainment and dining district), five miles from Ocean Park, 12 miles from Stanley Market and Victoria Peak, and 25 miles from the Giant Buddha. The newly renovated reception, business center, Lobby Lounge, and Cafe Renaissance are now in service with a contemporary and vibrant new look. Other hotel amenities include the Dynasty Restaurant (Cantonese cuisine), Coffee Shop, Scala Restaurant (Italian cuisine), spa services, heated outdoor pool, 11,000-square-meter recreation garden, and free use of a nearby fitness facility. The hotel also offers a concierge, free weekday newspapers, free local calls, and valet parking (fee). All rooms feature high-speed Internet access, minibars, fax machines, air-conditioning, alarm clocks, bottled water (for a fee), coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, safes, bathroom amenities, bathrobes, hairdryers, separate tubs and showers, satellite TV, minibars, in-room movies, and voicemail. A limited number of guestrooms will be blocked for enhancement work during May to mid September 08.
