NO.1 hostel in China 2007, voted by all hostelworld customers! An amazing Chinese character house run by a nice local family in old hutong neighbourhood of centeral city. It peacefully hides behind busy streets, not luxurious but more comfortable and relaxing, bright, clean and full of Beijng's local taste. Want to get more information? Just google 'templeside' and you can find our own website.The guset house impresses with its beautiful garden courtyard, sunny and clean rooms, city center location and super convenient public transportations, considerable service and travelling arrangements, etc. Of course, warm English speaking staff is more essential. Living in this hostel can help you get a better understanding of Beijing's local life. You could never get the same feeling and traveling experience from any other places. Wandering in the long and puzzling hutong, smiling to lovely local neighbors, seeing the blue sky in the no-roof courtyard, hearing the whistle from swiftly flying-by doves, watering the garden, walking the dog, the Templeside house gives you 'a glimpse of what life in the city is really like'. The Templeside Hutong House Hostel has the best location in the city center of Beijing. It is less than 3 kilometers to all major sites of Beijing including Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Hou Hai lakeside bars and Xi Dan shopping centers. Over 20 routes of Buses and subway trains leave outside the hostel regularly to all areas. There are two old Buddhist temples around the hostel, in only 3 minutes walking distance. Even more, the hostel has many more FREE services. For example,free wireless internet service with your own laptop, free private locker, free luggage storage, free local neighbourhood hutong tour, free dumpling making and BBQ, free satellite TV and DVD show, free help of organizing Great Wall hiking or other tour, free Chinese language assistance service, etcIn one word, once you are here, you will be here again.

We have two house now which are 10 mins walking away from each other. They are in the same neighbour hood, with same style. The house No.1 direction:Route 1Airport---shuttle bus Line 2---Xi Dan Aviation Building (shuttle bus terminal) ---bus No.22 or No.726 ---Xi Si stop---Guang Ji Temple---LiuHe Hutong---hostelFrom the airport, take shuttle bus Line 2 to the last stop, Xi Dan Aviation Building (shuttle bus terminal ). Get bus No.22 or No.726 just in front of the Aviation Building and get off at Xi Si stop (should be the 4th Stop for bus 22, and 3rd stop for bus 726), go backward to the crossing and heading west about 100 meters along the street, pass the Guang Ji Temple, the second small alley which is named LiuHe Hutong. Route 2Airport---shuttle bus Line 2---Xi Dan Aviation Building (shuttle bus terminal) --- bus No.603 ---'Xi Si Lu Kou Xi ' stop---LiuHe Hutong---hostelFrom the airport, take shuttle bus Line 2 to the last stop, Xi Dan Aviation Building (shuttle bus terminal ). Keep walking forward for 3 mins and turn right at the traffic light, then after another 5 mins walking, you can find the Bus 603 heading north. Asking the ticket girl, getting off at the third stop, 'Xi Si Lu Kou Xi ' stop, then you can find the Liuhe Hutong right thereRoute3Airport---new train---Dong Zhi Men station---subway line 2----Fu Cheng Men station----Xi Si stop---Liu He Hutong---hostelAt Fu Cheng Men Station, out of the exit B then walking to the east along the Fu-Cheng-Men-Nei street. About 15 minutes walking to the east, you will find LiuHe Hutong . Of course, you can also take a bus (No. 603 or 102) from Fu-Cheng-Men Subway Station instead of walking. Route 4Beijing Central Railway Station---subway to FuChengMen station---bus, taxi or walking--- Xi Si stop ---LiuHe Hutong---hostelFrom Beijing Central Railway Station, take the Subway and then get off at Fu-Cheng-Men Station, At Fu Cheng Men Station, out of the exit B then walking to the east along the Fu-Cheng-Men-Nei street. About 15 minutes walking to the east, you will find LiuHe Hutong . Of course, you can also take a bus (No. 603 or 102) from Fu-Cheng-Men Subway Station instead of walking. Route 5Beijing West Railway Station---bus No 823---Xi Si stop---Guang Ji Temple---LiuHe Hutong---hostelFrom Beijing West Railway Station, take bus No 823 and get off at Xi Si stop(should be the 12th stop), go backward to the crossing and heading west about 100 meters along the street, pass the Guang Ji Temple, the second small alley which is named LiuHe Hutong. The house No.2 direction:The Templeside House Hostel No.2 shop is located close to the Bai Ta Temple (white pagoda temple) which is the one of the landmarks of the city center. The address in Chinese is '北京市西城区赵登禹路安平巷8号, 西城交通支队向南50米路西. The address in English is ' No.8, An Ping Xiang, Zhao Deng Yu Road, Xi Cheng District, Beijing'. Route 1From the airport, please take shuttle bus No.2 to the final stop--- Xi Dan aviation building, then take bus 603 to ' Bai Ta Si' stop. Heading west along the Fu Cheng Men Nei Da Jie and turning right to Zhao Deng Yu Road at the traffic light. After around 3 minutes walking , then you will find a wide Hu tong named An Ping Xiang on the west wide of the road. We are just NO.8 in the Hu tong. Route 2From the airport, you can also take the new train to Dong Zhi Men then change subway line 2 to Fu Cheng Men, then out from exit B, then walking to the east along the main street, and you can find the Zhao Deng Yu road, and An Ping Xiang. Route 3From the Beijing central railway station, just take the subway and get off at Fu Cheng Men station. Going out of the station at exit B, then heading to the east along the Fu Cheng Men Nei Da Jie (street), passing the famous Bai Ta Temple (white pagoda temple), turning left at the traffic light and keep walking along Zhao Deng Yu Lu (road) for 3 minutes, you will find a wide Hu tong named An Ping Xiang just on the left side of the street. We are just NO.8 in the Hu tong. Route 4From the Beijing West railway station, please take bus 823 to the 'Bai Ta Si' stop. Heading west along the Fu Cheng Men Nei Da Jie and turning right to Zhao Deng Yu Road at the traffic light. After around 3 minutes walking , then you will find a wide Hu tong named An Ping Xiang on the west wide of the road. We are just NO.8 in the Hu tong.
