From Kefalonia Airport (EFL): Distance to Cephalonia Palace is 42 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive. Getting there. The best way to get to the hotel is by taxi or hire car. Getting around. A local bus runs into Lixouri, which can also be easily explored on foot. Resorts are quite far apart and public transport is extremely limited, so a car is the best option for exploring the island. A ferry runs between the capital (Argostoli) and the Paliki Peninsula, where the port of Lixouri is situated.
