The Hotel Mare Nostrum is a sprawling 515 room hotel situated in central Playa den Bossa, 100 metres from sandy beaches and two kilometres from buzzing Ibiza Town. Cheerful guestrooms are decorated in yellow and blue with and open onto balconies; all include air conditioning, satellite television, direct dial phones, safes and private bathrooms. The pool is surrounded by a palm lined terrace equipped with sun loungers; children have their own splash pool to enjoy, and the hotel also offers a mini club. Active guests can make use of the fitness centre, and those in need of pampering will find a massage treatment room, hot tub and sauna onsite. Further recreational pursuits offered at the resort include aerobics, basketball, miniature golf, tennis and bicycle rentals, while the nearby beaches offer a range of water sports. The hotel also has a supermarket, a library and a cocktail bar, and multilingual staff at the front desk can arrange airport transport and advise on local hotspots. Fun seekers will find popular nightclubs just a kilometre from the hotel, while guests planning day trips might want to visit Las Salinas Beach, six kilometres away, or San Antonio Town and the chic resort of Santa Eulalia, which are both 17 kilometres away. Ibiza Airport is eight kilometres and a driving time of about 25 minutes from the hotel.

Taxis are available from next to the terminal and cost around 9 EUR to Playa den Bossa. A bus service also runs hourly to Ibiza town (1 EUR), where travellers can change for a bus to Playa den Bossa, which will stop in front of the hotel.
