Getting there. Bus number 2 departs Salzburg Airport every 10 minutes for Salzburg main train station (Hauptbahnhof). A single ticket costs 1.80 EUR. Bus services are also available to Tyrol and Bavaria. Trains run directly between Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall. The station is 300 metres from the hotel, and complimentary shuttle bus from the station to the hotel is available. Taxis are available outside the airport terminal, or alternatively the hotel can arrange transport (surcharge). The best way to get around the old town is on foot, as it is mostly pedestrianised. Bad Reichenhall is easily reached by rail and there are regular train services to Munich and Salzburg. A hire car would be useful for exploring the Bavarian countryside. Leave at the Bad Reichenhall exit and follow the B20. Take the exit for Kurgebiet and follow then Munchner Alee until the hotel.
