The Art Fabrik Hotel is a modern hotel housed in a converted factory building and situated in Wuppertal, 52 kilometres from D�sseldorf Airport. The 105 guestrooms have contemporary decor in neutral colours with light wood furnishings. All include cable television with up to 800 channels, minibars, direct dial phones, wireless Internet, coffee and tea making facilities, and safes. Bathrooms have bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers and phones. Guests can browse the gallery, which displays original artwork by local artists. The hotel also hosts regular art workshops and guests are welcome to come along and watch. Those interested in history will enjoy the 'live museum'. The hotel has a hair salon and spa services are available on site. Guests can enjoy live piano music in the Art Restaurant and Bar, which offers a wide choice of international food and drinks. Fully equipped conference rooms are available with catering facilities for up to 500 people. Multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can arrange currency exchange and dry cleaning services, and advise on getting out and about in Wuppertal. There are several attractions nearby including the zoo five kilometres away, and a water park within eight kilometres. The magnificent Cologne cathedral is 50 kilometres away. D�sseldorf Airport is 52 kilometres from the hotel, approximately 40 minutes by car.

Directions

Around 300 trains stop every day at D�sseldorf Airport Rail Station, which is located directly on a major axis of the European railway network. The S7 S Bahn (underground) train connects the airport and Solingen Ohligs. From here, trains run to Wuppertal Oberbarmeu station, which is one kilometre from the hotel. Taxis are also available and fares to the hotel cost around 55 EUR. Driving directions: From D�sseldorf Airport, take motorway A44 until Kreuz Ratingen Ost and change to the A3 in the direction of Cologne. Next follow signs to Wuppertal on the motorway A46 until Wuppertal Barmen.
