A good location to explore mid Wales and all it has to offer. (11/05tm) Traditional turn to the century building. Stands above a beautiful stretch of the river Dee, close to the centre of the ancient market town of Llangollen. In the 18th century the Hand was an important coaching inn on the London-holyhead stagecoach route. In front of the hotel the rose garden extends down to the river Dee itself.
