There are many activities to choose from in the parador and nearby: horse riding, wall tennis, ping pong, golf and tennis among others.1106FG. Founded by the Lords of Chinchon in the 17th century, this former Agustinian convent protects its monumental heritage in that of the old quarter of Chinchon, with its emblematic Plaza Mayor. In this framework the cypres trees, roses and privets of the garden offer a beautiful picture. The parador is located right in the middle of the main square of Chinchon. It was exactly here that Felipe V was proclaimed king of Spain during the Spanish Succession War.

The parador offers 38 rooms including two suites.They imitate convent cells with vaulted ceilings supported by wood painted beams but always with all modern facilities available, such as, air-conditioning, mini-bar, full bathroom, satellite TV.
