The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere with comfort, convenience and amenities for visitors en route to their Grand Canyon adventure. The legendary Route 66 is one block away, providing a quaint downtown district and small-town America at its best. The hotel is a two-story low-rise property modeled after the century-old Williams Depot and original Harvey House Fray Marcos Hotel (on the National Register of Historic Places). Nestled amongst the Ponderosa Pine forest in Williams, Arizona the hotel was built to provide hospitality for visitors riding the scenic Grand Canyon Railway train to and from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The property is perfect for a quick getaway or a multi-day base of operations.The hotel is one of the finest in the region offering 287 guest rooms and 11 suites. The spacious standard rooms feature two queen beds with dial-up Internet access, premium cable channels and are decorated with a southwestern flair. Suites provide an additional seating area, mini-fridge and microwave. In-room coffee makers are available throughout. Guests enjoy an indoor swimming pool and spa tub, fitness equipment, and game room for recreation. Take the fun outdoors with volleyball and basketball courts and a play area for children. The lobby boasts a casual western atmosphere and an attentive 24-hour front desk staff. Max & Thelma restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet-style. Spensers Lounge provides relaxing libations and features a custom, handcrafted mahogany bar built in the late 1800s and brought over from Europe. Furry family members are welcome in the state-of-the art Pet Resort adjacent to the hotel property, featuring 28 spacious rooms for dogs and 16 custom-made condos for cats, all air-conditioned or heated (additional fees apply). Rollaways and cribs are available on a first-come, first-served basis (fees apply). ADA rooms may be requested and are based on availability.
