More information on Amadeus Inn

You will feel as if you have traveled thousands of miles and gone back a hundred years to a quaint mountain village high in the Bavarian Alps. The Bavarian Village of Leavenworth Washington is the states top visitor destination with authentic German food, shops, activities and year round festivals. And at the heart of the Bavarian Village there is only one building that matches the unique building style of old world Inns. The Amadeus Inn is named after Amadeus Wolfgang Mozart, a composer of some repute. This mixed used building has the always popular -Renaissance Cafe- in the basement open long hours for locals and visitors alike. Fresh pastries, early breakfast, giant sandwiches and mouth watering dinner entries. Stop in anytime to say high to the friendly staff. The first floor of the Amadeus houses two whimsical shops - My Favorite Place features unusual clothes and giftware. And the Bavarian Soap and Candle Factory where you can watch your soap being handmade by little local artisans. The Arthur Loftus Nussbaum Gallery occupies the second floor with art and other treasures from local and regional artists. On the top floor of the Amadeus are four exquisitely decorated Bavarian Condominiums. These privately owned properties are available for nightly or weekly rental and are fully furnished including fluffy bed and bath linens, fully stocked kitchens with pots, pans and dinner ware. The units are one and two bedrooms, one and two baths. And all have decks that hang over the street for watching the village hustle and bustle. The Amadeus is the only building in Leavenworth that matches this unusual building technique and that gives it the true look of its European building brothers. But the Inn is not ancient having been constructed just 20 years ago. That means it is clean, comfortable, well heated and cooled and ready for your immediate occupancy.
