Our Hostal is located in the Heart of Madrid, in Alonso Martinez District ; famous for the continous existence of beautiful old houses from the turn of XIX Century. Sourrounded by cafes, bar, restaurants, theatres, night life and the most modern and “chic” shops.The main cultural attraction, ( Muse del Prado, Museo Thyssen Bornemisza, Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real…, ) are within walking distance.We are situated in the third floor of an 19th Century building ( no elevator ). In Hostal Castilla you will find confortable , clean , bright and nice rooms. Sourrounded by a youth atmosphere and friendly professional staff.Hostal offers you singles and double rooms with private bathrooms, and others cheaper with shared bathrooms. Every room has a washbasin with constant hot water, a desk , a wardrobe and a balcony.There is also a tiny kitchen with free coffee and tea.This is the ideal place for travellers seeking the true spirit of Madrid. Easy to reach from Airpot, train and busstation.

If you arrive to Madrid by train to Atocha station, you can reach the property Castilla metro: * Line 1 from 'Atocha Renfe' until the station n 'Gran Via', line 5 to transfer to the station 'Alonso Martinez' If you arrive by train to Madrid, the Chamartin Station, you can reach the property Castilla metro: * Line 10 from the station 'Chamarti' to station 'Alonso Martinez'; If you arrive to Madrid by bus, the Southern Bus Station, you can reach the property Castilla metro: * Line 6 from station to station Alvaro Mendez 'Diego de Leon'; ahi change to the line 5 to station 'Alonso Martinez'. From the Barajas Airport in Madrid, Castilla can reach the property by subway: * Line 8 from 'Barajas' to station' New Ministries', then switch to the line 10 to 'Alonso Martinez'. The option is more comfortable taxis whose amount is approximately between 20 and 25 euros.
