Casa di Campagna

“Casa di Campagna” is an expression of a “country culture”. Recently renovated from an old farmhouse, offers hospitality to the families and pilgrims visiting the birthplace of Saint Pio. The complex is situated in Contrada San Giuseppe and is 5 minutes by walking from the church “St. Maria degli Angeli”: historical and religious center. Is possible, by walking or by byke, to go to Piana Romana, a place of great spirituality where is the chapel of St. Francis, where is the Elm under which Padre Pio had the first invisible stigmata, a liturgical building hosting the many pilgrims and old houses owned by Padre Pio's parents. The structure is independent but not isolated: in the farm in summer you can collect fruit (figs, prunes, plums) and in fall, during the harvest, the large vineyards surrounding us gives the Grand Cru, magnificent perfumed and robust wine cured by the owners.
