The Amar Niwas is a 523 year old Haveli run by a Brahman family. The building is rich in history and maintains many of its original features such as stone lattice work balconies, gharokha (women can peep outside from here), antique wooden ceiling and an open central courtyard. The Amar Niwas offers a roof top restaurant from where you can enjoy a great view of the Mehrangarh Fort and the oldest part of the blue city. Indian as well as continental vegetarian and non vegetarian food is cooked by family members respecting the old tradition.

Directions:-The guesthouse is in the oldest part of Jodhpur named NAVCHOWKIYA, this guest house is 50 meters south of Navchowkiya. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the fort gate named feteh pol, it is 1.5km from railway station & 2 km from bus station, It is close by oldest main market,It is easily accessible by auto-rickshaw and jeep. This guest house has been open since January 1999 so it well known in this area. It is also a 5 minute walk to the post office. GPS coordinates 26.29490N 73.01412E.
