THE STANDARD NEW YORK WILL BE OFFERING PREVIEW RATES UNTIL EARLY 2009. The hotels primary facilities will open in the first quarter of 2009. In the meantime the hotel will operate with limited outlets and facilities. The hotel building stands over the historical High Line in the Meatpacking District. All rooms have state of the art in room technology. It is within close proximity to the West Side Highway, Javits Center, SoHo and the Financial district. All rooms have either one king or one queen platform bed. All have a maximum capacity of 2 persons. Rollaway beds and sofas are not available. The majority of rooms have peek-a-boo windows exposing the bathrooms to the living space.

Directions

The Standard Hotel is located in the Meatpacking District in Lower Manhattan right next to the Hudson river, built over the High Line. Nightlife, shopping and cultural sites are in walking distance of the hotel. A bus stop is just around the corner and it takes only 5 minutes to the next subway station.
