More information on The Cooper Square Hotel

The Cooper Square Hotel will open its doors this August and the 21-story fritted glass structure will make a striking impression with its bold design by New York architect Carlos Zapata. The hotel will feature custom furnishings by Milans admired interior designer Antonio Citterio the interiors will be a combination of European and New York modern elegance. The furniture design evokes a residential atmosphere made of natural elements accented with chrome hardware. Floor to ceiling windows offer incredible light and panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Bathrooms are tiled with Italian glass mosaic and custom accessories to match. Rooms are outfitted with Sony LCD televisions i-pod docking stations and complimentary wireless Internet. Hotel guests will be able to enjoy an intimate library and bar with a custom collection of books by Housing Works. Complimentary breakfast will be served daily in the library. Additional hotel amenities will include twice daily maid service and complimentary gym passes. Rooms will offer an eclectic selection of books from Housing Works ranging the arts fiction non-fiction design erotica food and more. The mini-bar will be stocked with a rotating selection of Indie films Tina Thor jewelry custom make-up kits and variety of tasty treats. Custom bath amenities by red flower and an extensive DVD library of hand-selected rare films. In a neighborhood undergoing a renaissance The Cooper Square Hotel aims to redefine modern luxury with intrepid design well-appointed amenities and a keen attention to comfort and service. Coming soon. An incredible outdoor garden under a canopy of trees and a lush dining patio that will create a secluded haven in the city. This fall Govind Armstrongs Table 8 restaurant will offer fresh New American cuisine. The Penthouse - with its wrap-around terrace floor-to-ceiling windows fireplace and screening room-study will be one of the most exciting spaces in downtown New York.
