Directions

Smyth - a Thompson Hotel is located in the heart of Tribeca in lower Manhattan, New York City, on the corners of Chambers and West Broadway Streets. The hotel is positioned on a five street junction and has stunning view over northern Manhattan, offering a great view of the Empire State Building. Tribeca is a neighborhood of cobble stoned streets, world-famous restaurants, and historic warehouse buildings, some of which have been converted to multi-million dollar lofts. Recently ranked by Forbes as one of Americas most expensive zip codes, it is also one of Manhattans most charming neighborhoods - families flock to this charming neighborhood for its fabulous schools and beautiful parks, while singles choose to take part in the vibrant scene the area offers. The name Tribeca comes from the area being Triangle Below Canal - the area stretches from Canal Street, bordering SoHo, south to Vesey Street, bordering the Financial District, and from Broadway all the way west to the Hudson River. Cross the West Side Highway at Chambers to enjoy the lovely Hudson River Park and River Promenade, which stretches all the way from Battery Park City to the Chelsea Piers and beyond.
