The typical Swiss chalet hotel is located in the heart of Lauterbrunnen just a three minute walk from the train station and has a bus stop at the front door. Not forgetting the spectacular views of the mountain; the Jungfrau with the Silberhorn peak plus Goethes waterfall; the Staubbach. Furthermore our hotel is in the area made famous by Sir Arnold Lunn and James Bond and at the end of the 15km Schilhorn-Muerren-Lauterbrunnen ski run. In the winter you can almost ski straight into your freshly-made bed. The world famous 311 meter Staubbach waterfall which was mentioned in Goethes poem can be seen very close to our house. In the summer a unique experience awaits you.Lauterbrunnen at the foot of the three peaks; Eiger; Moench and Jungfrau is in one of the most spectacular trough valleys in the Alps situated between gigantic rock faces and peaks. The lively main village at the beginning of the valley is the starting point of the most scenic and spectacular mountain railways in Europe. With 72 thunderous waterfalls as well as snug valleys; colourful meadows and lone alpine huts the Lauterbrunnen valley is one of the biggest natural conservation areas in Switzerland. The hotel also features a bar; newspapers; terrace and garden; non-smoking rooms; elevator; fast check-in and out; hotel safe; heating; luggage room; ski storage; smoking are plus; free W-LAN in public areas and in the rooms between 08.30 and 10pm. Additional Information; Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
