6 Columbus designed by Steven Sclaroff is visually evocative of the mod 1960s design shot through with 21st century sensibility. Teak and chrome are the materials used in the furnishings with a sense of sleekness prevailing. 6 Columbus is an intimate upscale and hip boutique hotel bringing the downtown SoHo feel of its sister property. 60 Thompson to the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Each of the hotels 88 rooms feature a flat panel plasma TV, I-POD alarm clock and wireless and broadband internet connections. All rooms feature artwork from one of the world*s most respected fashion photographers, Guy Bourdin representative of the 60s.

6 Columbus is located on Columbus Circle in the heart of NYC, directly across from the Shops at Columbus Circle mall in the Time Warner building. Diagonally across from the hotel is the beautiful entrance to Central Park known as the Merchants Gate. The hotel is in close proximity to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts which houses the Metropolitan Opera, NYC Ballet and the NY Philharmonic. The Theatre District located on Brodaway is a 10 minute walk or short cab ride down Broadway. NYC?s finest shopping area, 5th Avenue is located only three blocks away down 59th St a beautifulo short walk along Central Park South.
