Located on Piazzale Michelangelo, a hill known for its breathtaking views, the Villa La Vedetta Florence is a boutique hotel set in a Neo Renaissance villa and surrounded by private gardens. Although it boasts tranquil views over Florence, Italy, the hotel is only three kilometers from the historic city center. Guests are also 500 meters from San Miniato Church, six kilometers from the Certosa Monastery and three kilometers from the Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Pitti. Florence Airport is 10 kilometers from the hotel. The Onice Restaurant serves contemporary Tuscan cuisine in a pristine white and ivory setting, and the cocktail area features a honey colored onyx bar and caramel leather banquettes. On warm days, guests can sun themselves on the Villa La Vedetta's vast terrace, enjoy long drinks under the gazebo bar or cool off in the azure pool. Guests can also take strolls in the gardens that slope downwards towards the river Arno. During the winter months, complimentary newspapers can be read by the glow of the lobby fireplace. Room service is provided 24 hours a day, and the hotel also offers concierge and business services, secure complimentary parking and use of a nearby fitness center. The 18 guestrooms at the Villa La Vedetta are decorated in individual color schemes and contain a blend of antiques. All guestrooms feature satellite television, Internet access and marble and mosaic bathrooms with jetted tubs.

Cancellation Policy

-72 hours, 72 hours, 2 pm local time; in case of no show or late cancellation, the cost of one night will be charged as penalty. For reservations realted to Pitti Periods from 7 to 13 January 2009 and from 17 to 20 June 2008: 10 days prior to the arrival date in order to avoid the total stay amount charge as penalty for late cancellation.

Directions

Although the airport is very close to Florence, traffic can be bad in the city, so guests are advised to allow 20 minutes. The airport is a short taxi ride from town\(costing EUR 13 16) although it is also possible to take the half hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence. Driving directions from the airport: head towards Florence and follow the signs Centro Viali Circonvallazione. Continue along Fortezza da Basso Viale Spartaco Lavagnini Viale Matteotti Piazza Libert� Viale Antonio Gramsci Piazza Beccaria Viale Giovine Italia until Lungarno Pecori Giraldi. Turn right and cross S. Niccol� Bridge, cross the roundabout and then Viale Michelangiolo. Proceed for about one kilometer. Villa La Vedetta is on the right side of the road, 200 meters before Piazzale Michelangelo.

RestaurantThe "Onice" grourmet restaurant awarded by major newspapers a publication is a national and international field. The restaurant is characterized by its elegant and luxurious ambience. Its impeccable service, the wine lists mainly focused on important red wines of Tuscany and by the excellent preparation and refined dishes of chief. Two large luminous glass arched doors separate and invite guest from the garden with the large swimming pool and Jacuzzi for 20 people. The dinner area under a vaulted ceiling is furnished with satin covered chairs and sofas surrounded by crystal and crocodile table, with a sophisticated grey, ivory and cream tone with touches of cherry red. A long rectangular honey onyx counter top creates an ideal space for encounters and an area for clients to socialize. The transparent shelves accentuate the bottles and crystal glassware on display.
