Location. The Huntington Hotel stands 12 stories tall in the Nob Hill area of San Francisco, Calif. Built in 1924, the hotel is adjacent to downtown San Francisco. Chinatown and the Financial District are four blocks from the property. The San Francisco Convention Center, the Moscone Center and North Beach are located one mile from the hotel. Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 are two miles away. Hotel Features. The Huntington Hotel promotes an air of affluence through its use of ornate patterned woven carpentry, expansive floral arrangements and molded ceilings. The hotel's restaurant, Big 4, offers a diverse, revolving menu, private dining rooms and nightly piano entertainment. The hotel features a business center, meeting rooms and wireless Internet access. The Nob Hill Spa is home to 10 treatment rooms named after Zen concepts such as Wealth, Longevity and Peace. Many treatment rooms feature fireplaces. The spa offers saunas, a spa tub and a eucalyptus steam room. Facials, massages, and wellness classes, such as yoga and Pilates, are also offered. The hotel includes a heated indoor pool and fitness facility. Guestrooms. Each of the hotel's 136 guestrooms offers slightly different interpretations of Asian romantic d�cor. Guestroom beds are draped in Frette linens, silk coverlets and extra pillows. Turndown service is performed nightly. Crema Marfil marble bathrooms are highlighted by lime and bergamot scented Nob Hill Spa toiletries. Fresh gardenias are replaced in a water bowl each day, delivering natural aromatherapy to the rooms. Views of downtown San Francisco, Grace Cathedral and Huntington Park create an urban backdrop. Cable television, wireless Internet access and iPod docking stations are provided. Daily newspapers are complimentary. Expert Tip. The Huntington Hotel's concierge won't shy away from a challenge. Go ahead, inquire about tickets to that sold out event, or ask for help plotting the perfect picnic. The concierge staff prides itself on knowing no request too large or detail too small.
