The Berkshire is luxurious-filled with fine artworks and designer furniture and furnishing after a multi-million pound design makeover-but this is luxury without pretension. Free wireless access is available throughout the hotel. Public areas feature furniture by Phillipe Hurel, floor length leather-framed mirrors, hand-made bronze planters and white orchids. Art works include paintings by Vietnamese artist Anh Quan. Oxford Street, Bond Street, Hyde Park, Soho, Mayfair are all right on your doorstep.
