It is located within four and a half acres of lush gardens bounded by the Nairobi River at the back, on the other side of which are the green precincts of the National Museum of Kenya. The hotel boasts its own swimming pool and tennis court. Better still, this genuine haven of peace and tranquility is situated within ten minutes' easy walk to the city centre. There are 70 double bedrooms, (bathroom en suite) all currently under a stringent refurbishment program that comprises significant improvements - showers, baths and bidets in all bathrooms, and a bedroom "revamp" that provides improved lighting and new, tastefully chosen soft furnishing
