Location. The Marriott Copenhagen hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a modern hotel overlooking the Inderhavnen canal. It is within 800 metres of Copenhagen's central attractions such as the Radhuspladsen town hall square, Tivoli theme park and Danish parliament. Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (CPH) is 10 kilometres from the hotel, and Copenhagen's central station is 800 metres away. Hotel Features. The Marriott Copenhagen hotel, opened in 2001, has a glass front which floods the hotel in natural light. The marble floored lobby has gift shops and offers panoramic views of the canal. A sweeping staircase leads to the restaurant and bar.The Marriott Copenhagen hotel's Terraneo Restaurant specialises in stone baked pizzas from the open kitchen. The restaurant also serves international and Mediterranean dishes, and has a summer terrace with canal views. The adjoining lounge bar, adorned with contemporary prints of Copenhagen, serves cocktails and has a cigar humidor.The hotel houses 11 conference rooms for up to 500 people. Banquet facilities and wireless Internet access are available.The onsite fitness centre is equipped with a full range of exercise machines, as well as a sauna, solarium and steam room. Guests can pamper themselves with a massage.Guestrooms. From Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (CPH): Distance to Marriott Copenhagen is 10 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive. Getting there. Direct trains run between Terminal 3's station and Copenhagen central station every 10 minutes. There are regular trains to other locations in Denmark and Sweden. Taxis wait in front of Terminals 1 and 3 and cost around 160 DKK 200 DKK to the city centre. This price includes taxes and tips, and credit cards can be used. Bus numbers 9, 30, 500S and 250S run between the airport and the city centre (and beyond) until midnight every day. The number 96N runs throughout the night. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The Marriott Copenhagen is located on Kalvebod Brygge. Buses, an underground metro, trains, and water buses provide excellent transportation throughout the city. One ticket can be used for all types of public transport. Bicycles are a popular way to explore Copenhagen, and there are a number of cycle paths in the city. Secure parking is available (surcharge). Driving directions. From Copenhagen Airport Kastrup: Take the E20 towards Copenhagen Centrum. Follow signs for the Marriott Hotel.
