Fulfilling all your business and entertaining needs Makeney Hall is ideally situated close to the Peak District in the Derbyshire countryside overlooking Derwent Valley yet within a 20 minute drive of the M1. Relax and unwind in the Garden Room and enjoy uninhibited views over the countryside. This impressive conservatory is situated in the rear garden surrounded by rhododendrons and established trees. Choose from a selection of individually designed en suite bedrooms decorated to the very highest standards- many enjoy panoramic views over the mature gardens and surrounding countryside. Or for a special occasion make your choice from three delightful suites offering Victorian bedspreads and Victorian bathrooms. A superb choice of conference and meeting rooms including an independent training centre comprising of four rooms able to accommodate from eight to twenty delegates- provides a working environment which enables our guests to obtain all their meetings objectives. Alternative rooms are available for larger meetings/ receptions/ and private functions. The spacious Milford suite can hold 180 for a reception or theatre style conference. It is fully equipped with loud speakers/ microphones/ a dance floor/ and able to accommodate 160 is ideal for a dinner dance. The Chartwell and Chevin Suites are more suitable for boardroom style meetings/ small working lunches/ or private dining. Catering for up to 150 delegates our professional staff will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the event and are happy to advise on the planning of excursions and leisure pursuits within the area.
