Location. Jesmond Dene Hotel is located in central London, 150 metres from King's Cross Station. The hotel is one mile from the shopping district and restaurants of Covent Garden, and 3.5 miles from Buckingham Palace. Hotel Features. This three storey hotel is housed in a 19th century town house. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer tour assistance, and complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the air conditioned public areas. Directions

From London Heathrow Airport (LHR): Distance to Jesmond Dene Hotel is 20 miles, approximately 40 minutes' drive. Getting there. The non stop Heathrow Express train is the quickest way into London. It departs from the airport every 15 minutes, and takes 15 minutes to reach Paddington Station in central London. Paddington is on the Hammersmith and City line, and the District and Circle line of London's Underground (Tube). Both lines go to King's Cross Station, which is 150 metres from the hotel. Black taxis cost approximately 80 GBP to the hotel. Coaches operate to London Victoria and the rest of the UK, and the airport is also served by local buses. Price subject to change. Getting around. The London Underground (Tube) and buses are the easiest ways to travel within London. Single tickets can be expensive, and the electronic Oyster card provides cheaper fares. Oyster cards can be purchased from ticket offices. Daily or weekly travel passes are the most economical way to travel, and are valid on buses, trams, trains, and the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), as well as on the London Underground. Black taxis are available on the street, but can be expensive. Driving is not recommended for visitors and a congestion charge zone is in operation in central London.
