Tugu Bali is the only a museum boutique hotel, but it offers so much more in terms of cuisine, hospitality and service, that one is reluctant to categorize a place that offers such a unique experience for each of its guest. Owned by a husband and wife who are ardent collectors of SE Asian antiques, Hotel Tugu Bali was built to recreate and preserve the Balinese life, culture, and luxury of yesteryear. A collection of antiques from Java and Bali blends seamlessly with the 21st century comforts including a fresh water swimming pool, art and antique gallery, a Balinese spice emporium, a spa and superb dining. The staff takes care of its guest with exceptional grace and thoroughness for which Asian hospitality is known. Guests sleep on antique beds owned by Indonesian royalty surrounded by authentic antique decor. One of the dining rooms is a 300-year-old Kang XI Temple brought piece by piece from East Java.
