More information on Hanoi Backpackers Hostel
The Hanoi Backpackers' Hostel was the first and remains Hanoi's only true backpackers' hostel run by backpackers. You can find us down a quiet lane just 100 meters from the front steps St Joseph's Cathedral and the cafes and restaurants in the centre of town. Just a 3 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake the hostel is perfectly located to explore the Old Quarter and a 20 minute walk to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. All our accommodation types are air conditioned and dorm beds are divided between 10 funky dorm rooms of various sizes and all the dorm have en suites. Each bed has its' own locker, night light and a convenient shelf for Ipods and stuff. Linen is included with a very fluffy pillow and a warm duvet in winter.Couples are not forgotten, there is also 2 double suites, 2 triple suites and a triple and a quad share dorm room for those who value their privacy. The all inclusive price gets you breakfast, all day tea/coffee and use of the ADSL, and WIFI internet (yes, the PCs have Skype).Because we enjoy a good crac as much as the next guy, there are BBQ's every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5pm on the Roof Top terrace as well as a Sunday Session from 3pm. Our nightly Happy Hour starts at 5 o'clock in the Front Bar. For those of you just passing through we offer a transit stop so you can securely store your pack while you wonder around Hanoi and grab a shower before leaving on night trains and buses for other exciting destinations. For those of you arriving via Hanoi International Airport we highly recommend organizing an airport pick up. No, it is not free but you will avoid the hassels of being taken to another hotel which will tell you that the hostel is full/closed down/or was knocked down by an act of God.We look forward to meeting you and remember Happy Hour starts at FIVE.
