"Santa Monica is great (although it takes forever to get anywhere by bus in LA), the staff were friendly, the hostel was clean, large lockers are provided, the breakfast was good, and the baseball and pub crawl organised by the hostel were bonuses I wasnt expecting." source Hostelworld

"really good safe clean hostel close to loads of things and the staff were good and its round the corner from the beach so what more can u ask for." source Hostelworld

"More infos concerning the local buses services availlables(Blue bus, Metro, etc) vs routes & destinations (Hollywood, Beverly Hill, Etc)." source Hostelworld

"Very helpful staff also." source Hostelworld

  • Location: Rating of 4.8 out of 5

"Located in the center of Santa Monica this hostel has a good breakfast but is slightly too expensive. The shared male bathrooms were very dirty and the outside social area closed too early." source Hostelworld

"Great location, 5 mins from beach and shops. walkable distance to Venice Beach and very easy to navigate local buses to downtown LA." source Hostelworld

"Great location close to public transport, big breakfast included, great activities run by the hostel, internet access and free wifi." source Hostelworld

"The only thing id pick at would be that with it being in santa monica it is a way from downtown LA and hollywood." source Hostelworld

"Santa Monica isn't close to Hollywood but buses are very cheap, and it's within walking distance of Venice." source Hostelworld

  • Room

"The hostel is large and there was a lot of people there when I was there - this means the wifi room and the lounge aren't ghost towns and there will always be people around to bump into." source Hostelworld

"People just come up to the counter and tell the staff that their room cards didn\'t work anymore. The staff didn\'t check ID and just give them new room key cards." source Hostelworld

"Staff, rooms, lockers, cleanliness all first class plus your sandwiched between the 3rd st promenade and the beach." source Hostelworld

"30 in the morning, and the guy at the front desk got us a place to sleep, in the TV room on sofas." source Hostelworld

"There were few couck roaches in our room and toilet paper could be a little bit thicker." source Hostelworld
