Location. The Grange City Hotel is located in a modern building in The City, the financial district of central London, England. The hotel is 300 metres from the Tower of London and 400 metres from Tower Bridge. The restaurants and bars of St Katherine Docks are 500 metres away and the historic Leadenhall Market, with its shopping and dining, is 600 metres. Tower Hill Underground station is just 100 metres from the hotel. Hotel Features. Despite its contemporary exterior, the Grange City Hotel is decorated in a traditional manner with marble floors and polished wood fixtures.The high ceilinged Forum Restaurant serves Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Overlooking the hotel's own courtyard, The Lutetia Bar and Brasserie serves French food and offers alfresco dining. The contemporary Koto II prepares fresh sushi. Guests can take a seat at the conveyor belt bar or on one of the red leather banquettes. There are 17 meeting rooms, including a large, flexible auditorium, and four suites for executive dining. High speed internet connections are available in public areas (surcharge).The hotel has 25 metre indoor pool with elegant columns, and a fitness room. There is a sauna, steam room and jetted tub. Massages, yoga and Pilates classes are available (surcharge may apply).Guestrooms. The Grange City Hotel's 307 air conditioned guestrooms have thick curtains and dark wood, period style furniture. Rooms offer high speed Internet connections, minibars and tea/coffee making facilities. The granite and marble bathrooms feature designer toiletries, phones, bathrobes and slippers. Expert Tip. St Katherine Docks, on the River Thames, is 500 metres away. It is a great place for to have a meal or a drink by the waterfront.

From London Heathrow Airport (LHR): Distance to Grange City Hotel is 19 miles, approximately 50 minutes' drive. Getting there. The Heathrow Express train is the quickest way into London. It departs from the airport every 15 minutes, and takes 15 minutes to reach Paddington Station in central London. The journey is non stop and costs 14.50 GBP. Paddington is on the Hammersmith and City, District and Circle, and Bakerloo lines of London's Underground (Tube). Additionally, the airport is on the Piccadilly line of the Underground, which runs directly to Kings Cross, Leicester Square, Knightsbridge, and Green Park underground stations. The journey to central London takes approximately one hour, and trains depart every 10 minutes. A one day travel pass costs 6.30 GBP, including travel to Heathrow (in zone 6). Black taxis cost approximately 50 GBP to central London. Coaches operate to London Victoria and the rest of the UK, and the airport is also served by local buses. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The Grange City Hotel is 100 metres from Tower Hill Tube station. The London Underground (Tube) and buses are the easiest ways to travel within London. Single tickets are expensive, but an electronic Oyster card offers a cheaper fare. Oyster cards can be purchased from ticket offices for 3 GBP (refundable). Daily or weekly travel passes are the most economical way to travel, and are valid on buses, trams, trains, and DLR, as well as on the Underground. Black taxis are available on the streets, but can be expensive. Driving is not recommended for visitors and a congestion charge zone is operated in central London. Parking is available nearby (surcharge).
