This modern hotel is situated in attractive grounds about 5 miles from the centre of Birmingham. Due to its easy access to the city centre and distance from the M6 this is a great alternative to a city centre property. Highly recommended. (KB 02/08) The exterior of the Hotel is quite modern, it is low rise and is situated in a leafy green suburb of Birmingham. The Great Barr is ideally located for Birmingham and the midlands, Literally 5 minutes drive from the M6 Jnc 7. Much easier than driving through the city centre. Leave @ Junction 7 -M6 Motorway, follow A34 towards Birmingham, at Scott Arms junction turn right onto Newton Road for approx. 1 1/4 miles then take the right filter lane just past Malt Shovel Public House to Pear Tree Drive.

From Birmingham International Airport: Turn right on Coventry Rd. Take the exit Rd over the island. Take Exit M42 to Exit 7 for M6/NW Birmingham. Turn left on Newton Rd/A4041, turn right on Peartree Dr. The hotel is located on the left hand side..
