Discover California's island getaway. The Catalina Canyon Resort & Spa is located 29 miles west of Los Angeles (boat departure from Long Beach). Catalina Island and the town of Avalon are a convenient escape to golf, deep sea fishing, diving, shopping, ocean rafting, swimming, biking, and so much more. The Catalina Canyon Resort & Spa in the quiet foothills above Avalon Bay, offers a lush garden courtyard, private balconies and patios, in an architectural style that evokes thoughts of a Mediterranean resort. Guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon poolside, dinner and cocktails in the hotel's courtyard, a fantastic spa or body wrap in the full service spa. The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. From Long Beach (at The Queen Mary) passenger boat service is available on a scheduled basis. The trip duration is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to Avalon (Catalina Island). A cordial and attentive staff is available to assist you with any needs that you might require. The Catalina Canyon Resort & Spa is convenient to fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues.All rooms are non smoking.
