"Also, we would not recommend booking the cruise through online travel website because it is more expensive than booking directly through Discovery." — source Travelocity

"Don't be fooled by the bad reviews on this place, while it may be not be the newest hotel in the area, it has an excellent location, 4 star amenities, clean, and is perfect for families or couples." — source Travelocity
"The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful and polite, I read reviews before we went and I got to say I was impressed on how clean and how big the room was when we got there." — source Travelocity

"They provide tiki huts with dual loungers ($10 a day), free lounge chairs, they provide beach and poolside bar and restaurant service (thats right, you can lay on the beach or by the pool and have food and drinks brought right to you." — source Travelocity
"K but the internet service wasn't working in the room and this hotel can't accomodate people that stay there because their business center has only two computers." — source Travelocity

"It was my first trip to Miami and after reading some reviews we decided to stay at the Newport, the location is excellent, it's on the beach and on Sunny Isles which it's very nice (to my opinion nicer than South beach) and you can be in South Beach in about 15-20 minutes." — source Travelocity

"They don't offer a contentinal breakfast but the do have a fabulous breakfast buffet in the restaurant that is very reasonably priced." — source Travelocity
"Not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at but if you are looking for an inexpensive way to enjoy the beach, you can't beat it." — source Travelocity
