Located one kilometre from Milatos village, the Minos Imperial Luxury Beach Resort is a large, contemporary, beach front resort, built from local materials and boasting panoramic views of the Cretan Archipelagos. The 310 air conditioned guestrooms are housed in bungalow style buildings with either garden, sea or pool views. All have marble bathrooms and balconies or terraces and include refrigerators, satellite television and music channels. A welcome pack of wine, fruit, mineral water and toiletries is also provided in each room on arrival. The resort's smart main restaurant serves Greek and international dishes and has sea views and an outdoor terrace, while themed Greek evenings and barbecues are on offer at the Luna D'Oro restaurant. Guests can relax in the elegant piano bar by night, or enjoy a cold drink from the beach bar by day. The resort offers a choice of three swimming pools, as well as a children's pool with slides, and also boasts a shopping arcade and mini market, bridge room and billiards hall, daily sports activities, evening entertainment and a children's restaurant and mini club. Guests can take the complimentary shuttle bus service to Milatos, and enjoy a fresh seafood from one of the taverns by the sea, or take a taxi to the larger resort center of Agios Nikolaos, 24 kilometres away. Heraklion Airport is approximately 40 minutes driving time and distance of 40 kilometres. The half board rate incorporates breakfast and dinner each day.
