From Faro Airport (FAO): Distance to Villa Termal das Caldas de Monchique Spa & Resort is 90 kilometres, approximately 50 minutes' drive. Getting there. The best way to reach the hotel is by taxi. Trains run from the airport to Portimao, from where bus services and taxis run to Monchique. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Monchique is compact and easy to explore on foot. Complimentary bicycles are available at the hotel for exploring more of the area. A car is recommended for exploring the Algarve region. Privately run buses connect many of the major resorts. Driving directions. From Faro Airport. Follow signs to Faro. From Faro, take the A22 to Portimao. Take the Monchique exit. At the roundabout, turn right towards Monchique. Continue to Monchique, going straight over two roundabouts. Continue for approx. 15 kilometres to the hotel.
