The hotel Villa Favorita is located in Marsala and was established in the early of the 19th century as a wine farm and soon became an elegant meeting place for Sicilian intellectuals and aristocratics. With a wise restoration, lasting for 30 years by now, the original wine factory, founded by Salvatore Amodeo, has become an integral part of the artistic and cultural patrimony of Marsala.Nowadays, with its 30,000 square metres, 10,000 of wich indoor and readapted according to the today's needs, the property has maintened intact its architectural structures and its wide park, rich of plants, multicolour flowers and its ancient trees, together with the view on the Stagnone reserve, makes this place the ideal for an unforgettable stay. The property fetaures elegant and comfortable guestrooms, meeting, banquets and parties rooms, an excellent restaurant, a swimming-pool, a tennis court, a five-a-side field, a bowling green and a play area.

Directions

How to arrive from Palermo:From the highway Palermo Trapani A29 continue for Trapani/Marsala, after the Marsala's exit go on to Birgi, turning to the right in direction Marsala. Reached the rotunda: turn right to Birgi-Trapani airport, to the left it goes toward the S.V. for Marsala north, while you continue straight along the south coast road of the city. Proceeding for around 15 kms, after a series of curves you will arrive near the Wine cellar Mothia; taking to the left the first way you have arrived in the street Grotta Del Toro 84/A. How to arrive from Agrigento:From the road 115 which ends to Castelvetrano, continue to the highway A29 Palermo/Mazara del Vallo, towards Mazara. At the end of the highway continue along the National road (115) till the litlle villages around Marsala, such as Strasatti,Terrenove,Ponte fiumarella.You will arrive in this way in the city center.Follow the indication for Mozia or the SP21 for Trapani.At the beginning of the SP21,you will find the Wine cellar of Mothia .Via grotta del Toro is just behind it.
