The Victorian Mansion at Los Alamos Bed & Breakfast is located in Los Alamos near Santa Barbara, California. Built in 1864, the historical Victorian Mansion dates back to before the foundation of Los Alamos in 1876, which is a beautifully tranquil town tucked away in a valley flanked by the wooded Purisima Hills to the south, Solomon Hill to the north, and surrounded by vineyards and ranches. It took ten years to realize the intriguing and creative theme rooms of this fascinating Santa Barbara area B&B. Each of the 6 individually appointed guest rooms offer the perfect location for a unique vacation or an unforgettable honeymoon, romantic anniversary or extra-special birthday. The Victorian Mansion Bed and Breakfast of Los Alamos is in close proximity to many local attractions, such as the nearby Bedford Thompson winery, where free tasting takes place daily of its own Chardonnay, Cabernet and Pinot Grigio wines. Antique shops and restaurants all add to the delightful charm of Los Alamos, named for the graceful poplar trees (los alamos in Spanish) which line the banks of San Antonio Creek.
