From Trieste Airport (TRS): Distance to Urban Hotel Design is 35 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive. Getting there. The number 55 bus runs to Trieste main railway station. Single tickets to Trieste cost 2.55 EUR. Taxis are available between 8 a.m. and midnight, and cost about 60 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Trieste's public transport system includes buses, trams, and a funicular railway. Trains run from Trieste train station to destinations throughout Italy and into Slovenia. Coaches run from Trieste bus station to Croatia and Slovenia. Good bus services link the towns throughout Croatia and Slovenia. A car is useful for exploring further afield.
