Originally built as two Victorian Family Town Houses, the Hyde Park Hotel is now a little gem in central London. This charming hotel has been recently renovated and hosts exquisitely designed apartment-like rooms, just one block from popular Hyde Park. It is also ideally located for visiting the exuberant West End, famous for its culture, restaurants, theaters, cafés and infinite shopping opportunities. The hotel is perfect for short as well as longer stays, as every and each room has a wide range of facilities that will allow guests to make the most out of their London visit, feeling at home away from home. The Hyde Park Hotel offers, among other amenities, high speed Internet access, a lobby area with coffee vending machines and elegant sofas, as well as a 24-hour reception desk.

Directions
From London Heathrow Airport (LHR): Distance to Hyde Park Hotel is 16 miles, approximately 25 minutes' drive. Getting there. The Heathrow Express train is the quickest way into London. It departs from the airport every 15 minutes, and takes 15 minutes to reach Paddington Station, which is one mile from the hotel. The journey is non stop and costs 14.50 GBP. Paddington is on the Hammersmith and City, District and Circle, and Bakerloo lines of London's Underground (Tube). A one day travel pass costs 6.30 GBP, including travel to Heathrow (in zone 6). Black taxis cost approximately 50 GBP to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The London Underground (Tube) and buses are the easiest ways to travel within London. Single tickets are expensive, but an electronic Oyster card offers a cheaper fare. Oyster cards can be purchased from ticket offices for 3 GBP (refundable). Daily or weekly travel passes are the most economical way to travel, and are valid on buses, trams, trains, and DLR, as well as on the Underground. The nearest tube stations to the hotel are Bayswater, Queensway, and Notting Hill Gate, on the District and Circle, and Central Lines. Black taxis are available on the streets, but can be expensive. Driving is not recommended for visitors and a congestion charge zone is operated in central London.
