Directions

An airport shuttle for four people costs about EUR 45, while a taxi costs approximately EUR 70. Taxis are readily available and can easily be hailed in the street. Efficient train and bus services operate throughout the Algarve. The best way to explore the area is by car. Driving directions: From the airport, take the A22 motorway, Via de Infante, in the direction of Portimao. Take the Portimao exit and continue to the coast. At the roundabout with a fountain, turn right in the direction of Alvor and continue for two kilometres. The Prainha Clube is on the left.

Restaurant / Dining InformationDepending on the season there is a choice of 5 different Restaurants offering cuisine that ranges from Italian to freshly caught local fish. For those guests who may choose not to self-cater the Club offers a dining room that provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an appetising choice of dishes and a fine wine list. There is also a lounge area in which guests may relax and order a mid-morning coffee or enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail. The large terraced area around the pool is serviced so that a fresh drink or snack is always available.
