Formerly a monastery known as the Convento dei Tre Mori, the Piccolo Palio Hotel, converted around the fifteenth century, is situated in the delightful historical centre of Siena, close to Piazza del Campo and the famous Duomo. Siena is nestled amongst wonderful rolling hills and is world wide known for its artistic and architectural jewels of the mediaeval city centre, which has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. The Piccolo Palio Hotel lies near many bars and typical restaurants, where guests can taste the delicious Tuscan specialities accompanied by the internationally renowned local wines: Chianti classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino or Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
