The Piazza di Spagna Hotel is situated just a stone's throw away from the Spanish Steps in the heart of Rome's historic centre, between Via Condotti and Via della Croce, an ideal base for shopping, cultural tours, fine dining, and strolling among Rome's beloved attractions, all within easy reach by foot or via the nearby underground station. Owned and managed by the Giocondi family for over three generations, the hotel is renowned for its excellent, personalised service which has guests returning year after year. Guest amenities include free Internet access, a bar, reading lounge, boardgames, and a brand new breakfast room and terrace. Directions
From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO): Distance to Hotel Piazza Di Spagna is 30 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive. Getting there. The Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is about 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. Taxis to the city centre cost about 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The Hotel Piazza Di Spagna is on Via De Fiori Mario, 200 metres from the Spanish Steps. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. Spagna is the hotel's closest metro station. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.
