"Beyond that, the rooms are sooo small and cramped. Our room overlooked the Plaza which ended up to be a very bad thing as the room was hot (the heat wouldn't go any cooler), so we opened the windows and were awake all night from the noise of the partiers in the Plaza." source Hotels.com

An airport bus leaves the airport every 10 minutes for the Plaza de Coln terminal in central Madrid. Tickets cost 2.40 EUR. A fleet of red and white stripe taxis depart from outside arrivals, and should cost around 30 EUR to the hotel. All prices subject to change. Many of Madrid's main attractions can be reached on foot. Madrid's extensive metro and public bus systems provide an efficient and cheap way of getting around the city. The main hub is Puerta del Sol.
