La Locanda delle Donne Monache is a unique luxury hotel in Maratea, facing the splendid Tyrrhenian Sea of Basilicata. Only 15 minutes from the coast and at the same time surrounded by hills and mountains, in a territory rich in tradition and culture, this 4 star hotel offers the right conditions for an unforgettable vacation in Maratea. Housed in an ancient monastery, founded in 1735, La Locanda delle Donne Monache is a complex of restored buildings, terraces and gardens: a very romantic experience. As in all accommodations in South Italy, great importance is given to the genuine local cuisine. In the Sacello restaurant guests will be offered the best Lucanian specialties and the most exquisite wines.
