Hotel La Foresta was an old convent inhabited by nuns, restored in 2002 now is the ideal place for a relaxing week or just for a week-end. We are located 28 km from Florence (daily connected by train or bus to S.M.N. Central Station in half an hour)inside the Vallombrosa Forest near to the famous Abbey founded by San Giovanni Gualberto at the beginning of the XI century and still inhabited by Monks. From here you can reach most of the important historical and cultural sites like Arezzo, Siena, Valle del Chianti, Foresta casentinese and the Biogenetic Natural Reserve of Vallombrosa.At “La Foresta†hotel you can immediately appreciate, its moderate elegance and its efficient good service, which will be able to meet all your expectations.The staff at the reception is always available for information, booking and everything else that can make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
