More information on La Bougainville
Hotel La Bougainville is a family-managed hotel in the historic city centre of Positano, on the Amalfi Coast, five minutes from the sea. Recently renovated, it offers rooms with sea view and balcony, a cosy breakfast room and an excellent position near the bus stop, restaurants, beach, parking facilities and shops. Positano, a poor fishing village during the first half of the 20th century, began to attract large numbers of tourists in the 1950s. The main part of the city sits in an enclave in the hills leading down to the coast. From Positano guests can visit Amalfi, Capri, Pompeii or Naples. By boat visitors are able to reach secluded bays which are just perfect for swimming or sun bathing.
