Kaukana Inn

Situated close to the sea at the entrance of the small resort Punta Secca, which became famous thanks to police officer Montalbano, an Andrea Camilleri’s character who was filmed in this area, you'll find the Hotel Kaukana Inn. Its name comes from an old Greek site found in the surroundings. The Hotel has recently been fully reconstructed and furnished in a modern style with inspiration from the close by Arabian tradition. Thanks to the warm climate the Hotel is opened all year around. We suggest visiting the typical countryside of Ragusa and the wonderful Baroque architecture in Ragusa city, being an artistic heritage of UNESCO. The Hotel has spacious rooms in 3 different buildings surrounded by green nature which guarantees privacy, tranquillity and relax to our guests. From Catania Fontanorossa Airport (CTA): Distance to Kaukana Inn is 100 kilometres, approximately 75 minutes' drive. Getting there. The best way to reach Santa Croce Camerina is by taxi; a typical fare is about 100 EUR. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The resort is compact and easily negotiated on foot. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas. Driving directions. From Catania Airport. Take the SS 514 to Ragusa and then continue to Marina di Ragusa along Strada Provinciale 25. Continue for six kilometres to Punta Secca, keeping the sea on the left. Kaukana Inn is located at the Punta Secca entrance, on the right hand side.
