More information on House Katti

The Bed & Breakfast Katti House is excellently situated in the centre of Florence, only a short walk from the main places of historic and cultural interest, such as the Santa Maria Novella church, the Duomo cathedral and the splendid San Lorenzo basilica. This one is renowned for its New Sacristy that Michelangelo designed with the purpose to host the graves of Lorenzo and Giuliano de' Medici, creating one of the masterpieces of architecture and sculpture of the Italian Renaissance: the Medici chapels. The area is full of bars, restaurants and shops. The ancient San Lorenzo market is also easily reachable walking. A stay at the property, a typical Florence building dating back to the 15th century, without lift, will allow you to breath the atmosphere of this beautiful city, landmark in art in Europe and all over the world. The owner is available to book museums or restaurants, thus ensuring guests a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Directions

We are situated in the centre of Florence, just 2 minutes by feet from the central train station, in Via Faenza 21. Leaving the tracks of the train station, take the exit on your left, cross the road, turn to the right; when you get the corner (you can see a McDonalds), turn left; now you are in Largo Fratelli Alinari, that's the beginning of Via Nazionale. At the first crossroad turn to right, go ahead for one hundred meters, there we are!
