"Service is fine, it's a bit of a Marie Celeste job on Sundays, but you're given a main key, good value, easy access from local train station but the clincher is the surroundings, the brook, the mountains, of course, the church and cemetary next door, and the path that leads from there up to the mountains - restaurant closed on Sunday - the distance from Interlaken is no problem as the connections to Wilder Wil station are excellent (I wish I had been informed about the local train/bus station." — source Venere

By Car:From Bern or Lucerne: leave the motor way at Exit 25 continues in the direction of Wilderswil / Grindelwald. On arrival in Wilderswil, take left over the railway crossing towards the Schynige Platte Carpark, go pass the Hirschen Guesthouse. Just after the narrow wooden bridge (about 50m) you will see the Steinbock Guesthouse. By Public Transport:Take a train to Interlaken-Ost, Change for the Jungfrau train and get off at Wilderswil station. The hotel is a three-minute walk away.Or, take a train from Bern to Interlaken-West. Change to the No 5 Bus to Wilderswil station. The hotel is a three-minute walk away.The taxi from both Interlaken train stations costs about CHF17.
